Rendered in white and in title case, the brand name was set against an indigo background for better visibility. At the periphery of the ellipse and within the inner and outer borders, the texts “ESTABLISHED 1744” and “NOTTINGHAM ENGLAND” were mentioned at the top and bottom, respectively. The indigo colour forming the background symbolised power, wealth, and importance.
