The History and Evolution of the Hutchison Telecom Logo

Hutchison Telecom Logo Evolution

Hutchison Telecom is a subsidiary of Hutchison Whampoa (later CK Hutchison Holdings). Initially, it operated under the “Hutch” brand in several markets, including India. The logo has consistently aligned with the company’s technological advancements and market positioning. Whether through the minimalist “Hutch” design or the dynamic “3” branding, each logo iteration has been carefully crafted to resonate with audiences. Besides, the logo reinforces the company’s commitment to connectivity and innovation. The article delves into the history and evolution of the Hutchison Telecom logo since the inception of the company.

The Hutchison Telecom logo comprised an emblem of four blue squares and the wordmark. The emblem on the left of the logo had four small squares in blue arranged in a bigger square shape. The top two squares were attached at the bottom, while the lower two did not have any connection. The wordmarks to the right displayed “Hutchison” and “Telecom” together in a combination of black and blue colour palette. Displayed in title case, the wordmarks were written using the thin sans-serif typeface.

It is similar to the logo of its parent company, except the top two squares of the emblem are displayed in white with a grey outline.
